My performance costume from KUNSTFELTET. Muddy after 4 days of performing the sorting Oleva potatoes, and handharvesting of potatoes that fell off the harvester on the field.

I have all seven costumes, muddy still. I might like to install these in an exhibition someday.

A uniform is a code you can put on to indicate a labour one is about to perform. Here, the code is scrambled. A Felleskjøpet suit indicates farm work in Norway, but the norwegian word “KUNSTNER” i patched on the backs indicates the role of an ARTIST. The kind of labour being performed therefore, is not so easy to understand in a stereotypical reading of the uniform.
