Gabrielle Paré (b. 1989, Canada) is a visual artist and lover of the printed word. She received her BFA from the University of Alberta School of Art and Design, and her MFA from Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo. Selected exhibitions include a solo show at Tenthaus (NOR), a solo show at Galleri RAM (NOR), Tegnetriennalen 2023 (NOR), Vårutstillingen 2019 at Fotogalleriet (NOR), the Alberta Biennial at the Art Gallery of Alberta (CAN), and the International Biennial for Contemporary Printmaking in Trois-Rivières (CAN). She has participated in residencies such as Kloster Bentlage in Germany, the Banff Centre in Canada, Fonderie Darling in Canada, and PRAKSIS in Norway. Alongside her artistic practice, Paré is also an organizer, having co-founded the Norway-based Verdensrommet, a mutual-support network for non-European artists in 2020, and orchestrating the solidarity project “KUNSTFELTET” in 2022.
